Solid wood components for the furniture industry

Drew-Bak is a Polish manufacturer of solid wood furniture components. We provide serial OEM and B2B production for furniture manufacturers and interior brands across Europe.

From raw timber to a finished component

We mainly work with beech, oak, ash and birch. Our capabilities include CNC turning, 3-, 4- and 5-axis milling, drilling, sanding, gluing, water-based lacquering, oiling, hard-wax oil finishing and packaging.

Serial OEM production

We handle repeat production runs from several hundred to many thousands of components. We provide quality control, stable specifications and parts prepared for direct assembly or retail. Production can be carried out using FSC®-certified wood.

Frequently asked questions

Which wood species do you use for components?

We mainly work with beech, oak, ash, birch and pine. Other species can be used after checking availability, raw-material quality and project requirements.

Which solid wood components do you manufacture?

We manufacture legs and feet, turned and milled parts, frames, bases, tops, seats, armrests and other furniture components to customer documentation.

Do you work with solid, laminated and finger-jointed wood?

Yes. Depending on the design and requirements, we use solid, laminated or finger-jointed wood. The material construction is agreed before the prototype or production run.

What is the moisture content of the wood used in production?

As standard, we work with wood at approximately 8–10% moisture content unless the product documentation specifies another agreed range.

Which surface finishes do you offer?

We offer water-based, nitrocellulose, polyurethane and acrylic lacquers, as well as oil, hard-wax oil and staining. Gloss is matched to an approved sample or specification, from low-gloss finishes of approximately 5 gloss upwards.

Can you manufacture from FSC®-certified wood?

Yes. Agreed projects can be produced within the FSC® chain of custody. Drew-Bak’s certificate number is CU-COC-818245; the required claim scope should be specified before material is ordered.

What are the minimum runs for solid wood components?

The minimum depends on design, material, tooling and finish. We generally work in repeatable runs from several hundred pieces, while the most economical programmes involve thousands of components.
